Our 2010 Build

'Building a better home' title came from our previous experiences. We built with beechwood once before in 2010 and loved the house. With large open living areas, modern comforts, outdoor living and enough room for my growing family. However, we built on a main road which changed its name to a highway not long after we moved in. There was no intentions by council to widen the road but with the heavy traffic we knew it would happen one day. We tried to say the traffic noise didn't bother us but with terrible neighbours, no sense of community and the traffic noise we made the choice to move. Our goal was to build the same house in a better location and more family friendly. We have stuck to this motto the entire time. Its hard not to be swayed by all the extras you can get when building a new home. We did improve some things and got a different design but didn't go over the top. Here are some pictures of our old place. Keep in mind this was 2010 and all standard!!

All standard. Paint colour is Taubmans 'still white'
